Absolute bikes believes strongly in taking a leadership role in promoting community, supporting all forms of cycling in our area, and being strong advocates for mountain biking, trails, and the health of public land. We are members of these organizations:

We are proud to support Salida Mountain Trails, South Central Racing, the Arkansas Valley Cycling Club, Salida Parks Open space and Trails. Each year we donate a bike to the Salida Kiwanis' Kids Fitness Club Triathlon.

Salida and the Upper Arkansas Valley have beautiful rugged mountains, clean streams and rivers, miles of public land, wonderful trails and roads, and views that will make you catch your breath. But the warm, friendly communities that exist here make our home the nicest place to live or visit. We value our friends and neighbors and have had great experiences cooperating and partnering with them to accomplish things.

A key part of our mission is to stay involved in our community and work to see progress in areas that we care about. We work with trails, we cooperate with fellow business people, we support worthy charities and local schools, and we intend to keep doing these things for as long as we operate a business in Salida.
