Jen moved to Salida with her family (one husband, two daughters, four dogs and thirteen bikes) in August 2006 to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city life. She has been involved in bicycles since 1981 after moving from Maryland to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she lived for the past 25 years. With the advent of the mountain bike, Jen found her passion in life. Much of the 1980’s and 90’s were spent on long, exploratory rides in New Mexico, Utah and Arizona. She was closely involved with a shop in Albuquerque at that time and spent many Sundays volunteering at local races or joining in on Sunday group rides. Jen says the most rewarding thing about selling bikes is the smile on a customer’s face when he walks out the door with his new dream bike, whether it is a cruiser, Townie, full-suspension mountain bike or a sweet new road ride.
