I’ve been riding bikes for over 35 years. I got a Huffy Dragster in 1969 when I was 5, and that just started the trouble. I finished my first century ride in Summer of 1974 when I was 10 (the first annual Seaway Century in Muskegon, MI) on a Schwinn Varsity. I did another 10 or 12 centuries and countless other day rides between 1974 and 1980 on my 1974 Italian Torpado 10-speed.
For most of the 80’s I was away from cycling, but then found mountain biking in 1988 while I was living in Grand Junction, CO.
